Journey
Imagine a sound that bridges the gap between the dusty streets of Luanda and the neon-lit clubs of Brussels, that is the sonic empire built by C4 Pedro. Far from merely entering the music scene, he fundamentally reshaped the international industry for African soul, elevating Angolan Kizomba from a regional rhythm to a global movement.
Born Pedro Henrique Lisboa Santos on July 7, 1983, in Luanda, Angola, C4 Pedro was raised in the boisterous locality of Sambizanga before relocating to Belgium. It was in Belgium that he began his musical journey, initially singing alongside his brother, a partnership that sparked his professional creative drive. This cultural duality is the heartbeat of his music. His genre, a sophisticated blend of Ghetto Zouk, Kizomba, and R&B, reflects a transition from an Angolan childhood to a European adolescence, allowing him to infuse traditional foundations with a sleek, international pop polish.
His accolades are extensive, including multiple African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) and a nomination for the MTV Africa Music Awards. His discography is a roadmap of his evolution, featuring studio albums such as "Lágrimas," "Calor e Frio," "King Ckwa," "The Gentleman," and his 2025 release "Ancestralidade." His massive singles, including "Tu és a Mulher," "Vamos Ficar por Aqui," "Ninguém Estraga," and "Céu," have solidified his status as a hitmaker.
During this period, C4 Pedro was deeply immersed in his creative process, promoting his project “Ancestralidade” while expanding the BLS Prod brand. Whether he is mentoring talent on The Voice Angola or headlining global festivals, he continues to push the boundaries of the Lusophone sound.
